Rangsdorf is in Brandenburg and the “Coat of Arms” (Wappen in German) is an Eagle.

That would be my 2 cents.

Martin;
You absolute star! :applause:
I didn’t realise that G-BFNE was CASA built. Every caption I see for this aircraft says “Bucker”!
Any idea where I might find a better image of this badge?
Best regards;
Steve
Edit…Ah! I see…may not necessarily be a CASA badge…but just something Spanish?

It’s from Spain CONSTRUCCIONES AERONAUTICAS S.A. CASA 1-131-E3B c/n 1129
Spain, Ejercito del Aire s/n E.3B-148
March 17, 1978, G-BFNE Jonathan Lipton, Northwood, Middlesex till July 18, 1984
Guess this logo has nothing to do with Germany or Bücker!

Hi Duggy!
Thanks for the reply. I did wonder that too, so wondered if it was a coat of arms from Bucker’s home town of Rangsdorf…but that drew a blank! It certainly looks like a coat of arms though…
Regards;
Steve
