hello there,
I just wondered if there was anyone left on this forum, who might be able to help identify this aircraft fastener.
The only marks are as follow.
A small circle with K28 stamped into it.
The only other mark is an oval with the letters C U F S. The S is very stylised and very hard to make out. (20p is for scale.)

Did the Germany use the same AIS / inspection stamps?

Just be aware the Germans used some very similar fasteners to the Fairey type and they can easily be mistaking for British ones.

FB = Bristol
F8 = Fairey Engineering
FM = Fairey

It looks like a type 1 Fairey faster except that the cotter does not look correct for the type.
