The Museum of Army Flying has kindly had this propeller donated to it for promotional purposes. I would like to write an information sheet about it and wondered if anyone could tell me anything about it? Any information would be gratefully received.

Correct. NZCAA Airworthiness Leaflet A.65 issue 12, March 1966 lists Z5701 as approved for Cirrus Minor II fitted to Auster J1 and Gemini

My ARB notices says Cirrus Minor 11 Z5701 Diam ft5.50 Pitch ft 4.78 Auster V.J.1, Gemini.

Don’t recognize the specific drawing number, but with a 55 inch diameter and 4.78 pitch, it’s late 20s early 30s era. Certainly from something contemporary to the Bulldog.

The LAA list the Z5701 as fitted to a couple of Auster J1’s powered by a Blackburn Cirrus Minor II. I am not sure about the /2/b part but it certainly looks Auster.
