What’s wrong with this Spit?
It’s a replica, no idea on the engine installation (although it’s gotta be air-cooled).
I actually rather like this one – it’s like a bigger version of how my original project might have turned out 😉

Apparently, it’s NOT a Jurca aircraft!
It was an own-design job by a guy called Clarke Watson. No other details at present except that she crashed after the pilot at the time suffered a heart attack – both were lost 🙁

Yes it’s retracting inwards instead of outwards.

It’s the same designer, Marcel Jurca. This is an MJ10; the Gnatsum was the MJ7, IIRC.

Well, that landing gear looks a bit odd for a start!
That engine installation looks like a Ranger (6 cyl in-line) so I guess it’s a scaled down airframe, a bit like the old Gnatsums from a few years back.
