There is this boy in my form, who is rather annoying.
lets cut to the chase h once said “i would rather see a f22 fly than vulcan xh558” ok thats his opinion but what did once say was “xh558 is a bucket of bolts” 😡 (that made me really annoyed, cos its not)
what do think?, would you rather see a f22?
p.s can you also explain to him that there was no Seaking in the film “TRANSFORMERS” (Which i don’t like, its a bit boring)
thanks 🙂 🙂 🙂

The Vulcan entered service in 1953 and 55 years down the line is loved by thousands (millions?) of people throughout the western world.
In 55 years time can people really expect the same of the Raptor?
No, me neither!

Aircraft continualy go tech (they’re very highly strung machines) so I won’t be going with the express intention of seeing the -22.

He is clearly a heretic, and should be pitied. 😎
Is it me or is the Inquisition’s heart not really in it these days? :dev2:

That is the intention.
All i need is a job, and i’ll be able to afford to go, then! 🙁

I think the only way to solve this is, as Propstrike says, the use of force. You’ll show him who’s boss, prove your dominance in the playground and all the girls will like you
Does one speak from experience Rob?!!:D

I’m definitely not a poof. You can ask my boyfriend if you don’t believe me.
TT-18 this is a discussion you’ll never win. Suffice to say that the Vulcan is unlikely to display more than a handful of times before it will be forever earthbound. Grab the opportunity to see it as soon as you can. Once it’s gone there’ll never be another.
F22s on the other hand, probably a fair number of chances, stretching off well into the future.
On this grounds alone – no contest.
If you’d ever seen a Vulcan display you’d be even more certain.

I showed him and he said “you have all have got no taste and you are poofs”
its the other way round i think, including the poof bit cos he worries about his appearence.

I put the Vulcan up front against the F.22 like i put Group B rally cars up front against the nice techno WRC rally cars of today.Vulcan and Group B = noise and spectical ! F.22 and WRC = doing what it says on the tin…..but boring to watch !!!!!

I doubt if your school chum will be interested in logic….
The Vulcan gave the most impressive air display I’ve ever seen.
And while the F-22 is a great fighter, but it doesn’t have the size to be THAT impressive at an airshow and fighters can’t really show off their capabilities low & slow…especially with croudlines usually being in the next county.
In terms of showing the public what a warplane was designed for…the A-10 gives the best display.

There’s only one way to settle this….
After you’ve convinced him of the superiority of the mighty Vulcan, you do this….

BITCHSLAP!
Aww yeah!
*sorry, it’s been one of those evenings! 😮

How old is this pillock?
& F22’s ain’t all that exciting I hear em most days & don’t even look up. I always look up at the 11am U2 tho…
ok, it’s not EXACTLY 11am every day, but you could *almost* set your watch by it, some days it’s 10.30ish…;)

Sad to say, ignorance and prejudice are all around us. He may never see the light.
The whole world must learn of our peaceful ways, BY FORCE!
