Can you help regarding a propellor?

Hello everyone…can you help?

My Father was given a gift by Dehavaland, a propeller.
He passed away and now I have it. I would like to know what plane it once belonged to. He worked there is the late 50’s – 60’s and was much loved there, thats all I know….I thought I had already created a thread on your Forum but now I cant find it? Thank you

Hi KARENG,

I can’t help with your question but I can help with your previous thread. Follow this link and you will find it along with the replies you received
http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=104384

A good tip if you can’t find a post you’ve made or a thread you’ve created is to click on your user name or go to the User CP (control panel) and click on the link there that says ‘find all threads by KARENG’ or ‘find all posts by KARENG’

Hope that helps, good luck

Kareng,

First, welcome to the forum. I guess he worked at de Havilland.

You really have not given the assembled company too much information about said propeller. What size is it, what is it made of, is there any information inscribed on it? Perhaps you could provide a photograph of it? Of course there is always the possibility it was never fittted to an aircraft.

Have just checked, there is another thread on the same subject and some folk have responded, mainly in a similar vein to mine: more information required to be able to make any identification possible.
