Can you identify the unit that carried this badge?

Over on the Eighth Air Force Historical Society they are trying to identify this badge

To me the best guess would be one of the Aphrodite units, but does anyone know?

I thought exactly the same Moggy. Though as it is a Liberator, I would go for Anvil (i.e. the USN/Joe Kennedy). The Donkey could be ref to the ironic way the pilots saw themselves.
