Hmmm, pretty grainy photo but maybe there’s enough to go by. Judging by the cocky expression this could be a colour retouched photo (ala Snapper) of a BoB pilot. Maybe Bomber or Coastal command? A Walrus pilot, perhaps? 😀
On second thought, look how he hasn’t shaved and most of his insignia is removed (except his wings). This might be a POW photo! What do you think, Geoff? Does that look like a Stalag building in the background?
