canada 300 A310 at manston

Can anybody explain to me what a Canada 3000 A310 is doing at Manston in Kent, i heard that it was re-registered to modern jet support there, what would they want with a passenger aircraft like that? all there maintanance is based on cargo aircraft

Yes only a Saturday. Charter from JER. Might be a Shorts or a Trislander. I know Glouster is a Shorts so I can’t confirm.

Is the Trislander there every Saturday, and is that the only day it does operate to MSE?

If you’re there on a Saturday you will be able to see the Aurigny Trislander. Nothing big but quite special to see that far north.

in airliner world it says” airbus a310-304 c-gryv still in the full colours of Canada 3000 airlines has arrived for a period of temporary storage at manston uk. the aircraft, which has been in storage at lemwerder airport germany for the past six months has subsequently been registered to modern jet support as n440xs” dont know if thats any help!

perhaps entering into some sort of conversion programme, or spares source?
