Canadair CRJ

I will be travelling on a CRJ for the first time later this year and I am a little dubious to say the least, the smallest type I have currently flown on is the 737-200. Can anyone tell me what the CRJ is like, are they comfortable? Is there much room onboard? I would be grateful if anyone can let me know, I have yet to meet someone that has flown on one.

RE: Canadair CRJ

I once flew on a Canadair Regional Jet (although it is now known as a Bombairdier CRJ). It is very confortable and quiet.

RE: Canadair CRJ

Thanks for the info, I’m quite looking forward to my flight now. I had heard good reports about the ERJ-145 from various sources, but if you think the CRJ is the more comfortable out of the two then I should be OK. I was a bit worried because I’m 6ft 3″ tall!
Cheers.

RE: Canadair CRJ

Well 2×2 seating, as confortable as a F50. If the pitch is good you´l be all right. Although I worked for a small spanish regional airline using Embraer 145 I quite prefer the CRJ above all the other regional airliners. The embraer 145 although has bigger windows is much smaller with an arrangement of 2×1. As fas as the CRJ is concerned is quite confortable. Have a good flight.
