Hi Guys,
recently Lancaster FM159 successfully ground run not one, not two.. not three…. but all four Merlin engines for the first time in 54 years! A truly amazing achievement by the Bomber Command Museum Of Canada and a fitting tribute to those that fought for our freedom in Bomber Command!

She was much worse than that Tin triangle… see attached
All of her glass was broken out.. anything easily removed was stripped or broken inside. To see her come so far in such a short time is amazing!

Excellent news, Peter – a great team effort and when you get her taxiing ‘Just Jane’ will have a Canadian counterpart.

What an achievement! The whole team deserves a major pat on the back.
It might be worth linking to this photo to emphasise how far this Lancaster has come!
