That sounds like a good roundup of the museums, Peter.

I would add the following possible stops:

– The Canadian War Museum on Ottawa. Not specifically aviation related, but a very good museum.
– Also not directly aviation related but interesting is the CFB Kingston Military Communications and Electronics Museum.
– That museum is just a couple of minutes from Old Fort Henry, a very popular attraction in Kingston. The Sunset Ceremony they put on there is excellent, and put on every Wednesday night through July and August. Best military drill you will see anywhere.

When are you coming Doughnut? With some dates we may be able to flag some possible airshows for you. We don’t have a flying scene comparable to that in the UK, but it would be good if you had a chance to see a few fliers while you are here.

Better leave yourself a few days to see everything!!

Greetings.
Well for starters you should make your first stop at Jackson Park in windsor to see Lancaster Fm212 on her pedestal(www.lancasterfm212.freeservers.com). Next stop would be the only Flying museum in Canada at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. Follwing this the next museum to visit will be the Toronto aerospace museum at Downsview air park. The yhave a great collection in cluding a lancaster bomber CF5 and a full size avro arrow. Next place worth a visit is the RCAF museum at Trenton and their Halifax restoration project. If you have time drive north of trenton and see the old air base at Mountainview. Most of the redundant RCAF aircraft are kept stored there.
And finally end your trip at the National aviation museum in Ottawa..!
