Canadian Navy S-92 Contract

I read the Canadian government recently awarded Sikorsky with a contract to supply the Navy with S-92s to replace th ageeing Sea Kings which have been experiencing problems over the last few years. I just want to know why such a decision would have been made considering they could have purchasing more CH-159 Cormorant. Wouldn’t it have been cheeper to go with these modified EH101s? Cheers.
