No pics of any of them. There are brief mentions in Hallidays book of all 3 – look him up on the RAFcommands forum. He’ll know more, and probably tell you.

I’m looking for any info or photos of the following 137 Sqn pilots all KIA in 1944: P/O James Holder, P/O Matthew Wood (both canadian) and S/Ldr Gunnar Piltingsrud (Norwegian).

I know of a good book by Hugh Halliday. He posts regularly here:

What do you need to know? I have a pretty good reference library. I am personally more inclined to 609 (WR) Squadron, (Moose Evans, Arty Ross, Stanley Spallin, Buck Buchanan, Jimmy Stewart, Don Inches, Charles Miller, Frederick Reahill, etc) but should have stuff in books about the others. An old family friend is ex RAF Regt, 2nd TAF and was attached to a Canadian Tiffy Squadron.
