Canberra article

Could I respectfully ask you to have a look at my first freelance article, that I have had published.
It is on http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk and is about the engine work, that had to be carried out,to keep Canberra WK163 on the display circuit.

Comments welcome.

Thanks gents,I appreciate your comments.:D

I have written a few articles for the Classic Flight magazine, but this was my first ‘published’ one and my thanks to Gary Parsons for hosting it.

My main reason for doing it was to bring Chris’s efforts to the publics attention.
I am sure most folks thought, A, Why isn’t the Canberra flying this season and then B, Oh Air Atlantique’s engineers must have done the work.
When in reality, most of the work was / is done, by a small team of volunteers and in addition to their normal jobs.

I hope to do another one about the Operational side of the Canberra, somtime this season.
If you would like to see what else I have done then why not buy a copy of the Classic Flight magazine at a display/ pleasure flying event this year, they aren’t that expensive ,honest!

Cheers, Alan.

Ps The Tractor has ‘stalled’ at the mo………….
I hope to get on with it some time in the next month or so, I will post some pictures of the progress.

Been as you asked so nicely Alan I could hardly say no to reading your work.

Nice peice and interesting to see what you guys do to a very fine Lady.

Very much appreciate seein her (and the other Classic Flight aircraft) depart to airshows on weekends whilst working on Midland Air Museum aircraft. Certainly moves for her age doesn’t she.
