Lesb can no doubt fill in the rest of the history.

You’ve pretty much covered the highlights, maybe David Burke can fill in non-service detail. In fact it would be good to know about this Can’s disposition.

Just found this one out of my archives, taken around 88-9 shortly after arrival from Salmesbury.

Lesb has a couple of interesting pics on his canberra site. http://www.bywat.co.uk/

Phil,

Built 1954. To 61sqn then transferred to 15 sqn. Converted to TT18 . transferred to AAE&E in April 1968.
Sept 68 to 15MU and finally ( as shown in your pics) with 7sqn based at St Mawgan.

Soc and sold to BAC on 10 Nov 1981 and to Salmesbury for storage.
Sold on to Flambards theme park Helston Cornwall for display. Sometime later the airframe was disposed of with the cockpit section later noted at Bruntingthorpe in 2002.

Lesb can no doubt fill in the rest of the history.
