Canberra Display Team, help needed please

HI all,

My dad was part of the OCU Canberra Display Team and flew in formation for many displays with them. I am trying to find out where i can contact a possible association regarding the Canberra as have some log book information they may be interested in having copies of, plus photos of crews with Canberra as well.

As dad passed away in Jan 2010, we as a family are trying to share dads vast flying history wth the relevant historical aviation groups. I have been in contact with Handley Page Association as well and will be going to a meeting later this month to show them dads log books etc, as they are very interested in what we have.

Any help witt this would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Crow xx

Newark has 3 Canberra airframes and 2 Canberra cockpits on display and their details are listed here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/aircraft_list.html

At previous Canberra Anniversary events the displays have include Log Book entries that are related to the aircraft and cockpits on display at Winthorpe. Perhaps they might be interested in any entries that your late father might have relating to their exhibits. PM me if you would like me to forward on an email address or your contact details. 🙂

I’m involved with the Newark Air Museum and they are planning a Canberra Anniversary event next May; some details here!

In the late 1990s and early 2000s they had some contact a group called the Canberra Association, but I’m not sure that they’re still in existence.

As this thread develops I’m sure that several other ‘Canberra Groups’ will make themselves known. 🙂
