Canberra T.22 Cockpit

I have (very reluctantly) for sale my Canberra T.22. It is what I would describe as requiring β€˜Major’ restoration! I will be as honest as to what is needed to restore it! If anyone is interested then please pm me.
Moderators, I am sorry for posting this but I would rather let forum members have first shout and also avoid using that well-known auction site.:D

Regards

Richy.

I can personally vouch for the blood sweat and tears that Richy has expended on this aircraft. Although as he says it needs major work, it is pretty much complete and a work in progress. I wish him all the best in finding a good home for her.

I second that. As one who was involved with Richy’s acquisition of this cockpit right at the start, I can also vouch for the enormous effort that he has put in, against all odds it seemed at times, in order to save it. I know Richy hasn’t taken the decision to part with it lightly and I too hope it goes to a good home where Richy’s work can be completed.

The previous owner removed the back end in order to fit it into his storage area but, thankfully, the bulkhead is still with the cockpit and needs some structural work to re-fit. The project as a whole is pretty complete and you can see some further pictures under the Canberra section here. I have more if anyone is interested.

Which canberra cockpit is this? Any pics?

WT525, see potted history here.

Unique cockpit. It’s the only nearly displayable T.22 left anywhere!
