Do any of you Canberra fans have a good quality photo of the canberra 25th Anniversary line up at Cottesmore 1974. ?????

It was a great line up of most variants and on a personal note I positioned some of them,I was a young ‘rigger’ on 231 OCU and did a fair bit of towing in those days (you didnt have to do station duties if you were a tug driver 😉 )
Never mind the good quality…any photo would be nice !!!

cheers baz

Are you including Martin Canberras?

I think it includes any Canberra/B-57, definately worth being part of if you are fan of Petters’ finest!

Hi
As an ancient Canberra fan who seviced them electrically from 1954 until 1958 on 542 sqdn and beyond working for the MOD into the late 60s I welcome a Canberra site and have lots of memories and data to share.

It was Les Bywaters wish that his site be continued and maintained in his memory. A well known forum member and aviation enthusiast has taken over the running of the site.

Ahh good stuff 🙂

I take it your website will be different from les’?

Dont want to put a dampner on things as i know what its like doing stuff like a website

Good luck mate 🙂

Totally agree Matt. You’ve done more for the Canberra cause in 5 minutes than in 5 months of keyboard typing by others.

Good luck…..

Not sure what Merkle’s site was? …… what i ‘am trying to do is have a site abit like the Buccs site or in this case just for Canberras, thought i would give it a go and with peoples input into the site it should be a success:)

Aha… didn’t think i’d imagined it.

I’m hoping (as with the cockpit) that this goes on to greater things, good luck!
