Mrs Dino is now as of 1430 today the proud owner of an EOS 400D. You can almost see the camera for the grin !!
However I know that the EF-S lens that came with it won’t fit my EOS 30 (non digital) but that my EF lenses will fit, however her lens will not fit my 2x adapter which does fit her camera. Does anyone one know if there is a 2x or 1.4x adapter or converter that is compatible with the EF-S system mount?
I’ve tried most of the usual sources without any success.
Your time trouble and suggestions much appreciated.

The TC are meant for L lenses (which are the EF lenses). Simply put a TC will multiply the focal length and aperture and any defects in optical quality. So you get around this problem by using it on optically superior lenses or the L.
