I’m doing a bit of digging Looking for a heavily modified Beech Which Capital Air Service Used.

I don’t like bothering you too much. I imagine you get dozens of requests about specific aircraft……I am at fault as i ask occasionally

not seen that email about the Ronne expedition yet mate………..looking forward to that one.

thanks for that info – it fill in the gaps for the 4th CAS aircraft.

any chance of a pic or two of this one please………email is ok as posting pics on here isn’t that easy

A-897 / CA-247 3NM RCAF 2368 3NMT TOS 30Dec52. Deliv No. 25 Air Material Base for stored reserve. Indefinite loan to RC Navy from 15Nov54. With VX 10 RCN by Jun55, coded “710”. Used by VU 32 at Dartmouth in ’56 – ‘57. RCAF storage with No. 6 Repair Depot at Dunnville 7Dec60. Modif to Mk. 3NMT by 20Feb61. To Air Training Command for use at CJATC on 22Jul64. At CJATC, Rivers Camp, Manitoba, ‘64 – 67.*Used for Army liaison and VIP flights, with Army pilots. To Mobile Command, at CJATC, 16May66. Bristol Aerospace in Winnipeg, for magnetic particle inspection and spar reinforcement. Training Command at CJATC, on 18May67.
