Have any researchers in the UK, other than Phil Bulter, viewed or copied this collection of papers held at the Public Records Office in the UK?
Allocation of German Aircraft for allied use 1945 to 1946
AIR 55/260
ADCC/6190/2
134 documents
A group of researchers, including myself, have been gathering RCAF records concerning the various German aircraft and engines shipped to Canada in 1946 for testing by the National Research Council and RCAF. The National Aviation Museum have four JUMO engines that may have been removed from two ME262s (AM80 and AM52) before they where shipped to Aylmer, Ontario (by accident – later scrapped) and AM52 shipped to Toronto and suffered an unknown fate – maybe buried or scrapped at CFB Downsview.
The group of researchers want to see if this collection of PRO papers has any reference to the number airframes and engines shipped to Canada/Rockcliffe in the summer of 1946.
Anyone have any input or leads?

These were given to NAM in Ottawa by the National Research Council where these engines were used for Icing Tests. These engines most likely came from Me262 AM80 and AM52.
