A point of clarification…

Carolyn had two children, Richard and Olivia. 

Richard is the manager and chief engineer of Air Leasing, Ltd.

Daisy is Richard’s wife and served as Office Manager.

Several news reports have identified Daisy as her daughter, not daughter-in law. (The correct lineage is stated by Olivia in a Facebook post from May 9, 2021).

I always enjoyed reading about her and Richard in FlyPast. She was an outstanding ambassador for the warbird community.

Rest in Peace…

Awful, awful news.  Condolences to Daisy and Richard.

Very sad to see the news confirmed but glad that Richard appears to be better than in original reports.

RIP and thank you for all you gave to the warbird world.  

RIP Caroline, what tragic news especially as her late husband Nick was killed in a car crash also.

Daisy Grace has confirmed it on the Grace Spitfire FB page. Dreadful news. It’s never a good sign to see someone’s name as a forum subject and I knew what this would be about . Thanks for letting us know also. It had not been posted anywhere else but here. 

Though very sad news – I feel I need to correct the report and state Richard Grace only has minor injuries as reported here
