Cars Cars Cars Cars

Hmm, after we have been thru various threads, flame wars and sensible discussions, it is time for something utterly personal..

Folks, what car do you drive? 🙂

I am really interested…

Usually drive an MGF, or at least I did until the engine blew up three weeks ago. I’ve obviously been giving the old girl a bit too much welly through the back roads on the way to work…

So while The Rocket sits forlornly in my garage awaiting a quote for the engine to be rebuilt, I’m having to drive a 1993 Renault 19. I desperately want to hate it, but to be fair it’s getting me from A to B in my hour of need. 🙂

Not really, I simply do not remember a similar thread like this (which does not mean that it does not exist)

I am driving an 131HP FIAT Barchetta 1.8i twin-seat roadster. I love the thing, really.

I split my time between a ’03 Honda Accord LX and a ’87 Honda CRX Si.

We are limited here in the US, we do not get the variety of Euro- vehicles available in the rest of the world. Of the stuff we do have access to, Honda is the best for the price.

Honda- An engine company that also happens to make cars.

I can now proudly say that my lovely golden brown wide-tyred furry-seats Ford Sierra is in my posession for over 15 months, making it my all time record with one car. My first one, a 1987 Fiat Ritmo 1100 lasted for 14 months, a 1991 Citroen BX lasted about five, and i drove a 1987 205 1.1 for some eight or nine months before selling it to the scrapman for the same price i had bought it for.

I don’t understand why i usually end up with 1987 cars though. Matter of fact, the non-1987 one was the worst of all, with a torn engine block (well, partly because i drove 210 kph with it i guess).

If you look at the front bumper you’ll see that the chrome is peeling and needs to be redone. As for the rest, well it better look immaculate. After I hit that tree laying in the road a couple of years ago the body needed a little “tweaking”. Here’s a quick look inside:
