Carstedt CJ-600A Jet Liner

Am looking for information about the Dove conversion with two 605 eshp Garrett AiResearch TPE331 turboprop engines.
http://www.probertencyclopaedia.com/cgi-bin/res.pl?keyword=Carstedt+Jet+Liner+600&offset=0
So far I’ve only found some pictures and some tiny snippets of info.
How many of these conversions were made around 1966-1969?
Does any of you kind readers know if there is an article in a magazine or something written about in a book?
Guess it’s a very rare bird…

Don’t forget the

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Saunders-ST-27/142811202401877

Rather a red herring Tony as Saunders was a Canadian company and Carstedt a US company AND they were using different engines.:)

AND Channel Airways bought several airframes to convert but failed to continue with the project- maybe after a wing fell off the earlier build(not sure about this) -rightside wing attachment rings a bell????

“Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft 1972-73” shows a picture of a Jet Liner (N1563V) in Apache Airlines Livery (p.283), but no production figures are given in the accompanying article.

“De Havilland Aircraft since 1909” (A.J. Jackson, 1987) on p.449 speaks of 4 of the type for Apache Airlines.

The 600 in flight.

Apache Airlines (1957 – 1970) was going to be the launch customer for the 600, but don’t know whether they did.

I flew it in the right seat for about 4 months in 1974 with International Air Cargo out of Washington National. Till they went out of business. Don’t have any manual etc. I’m not sure but think only 2 were converted.
