After considerable effort the Catalina, built in 1943 and ex ex Greenpeace, at Lee On Solent is close to a ferry flight to North Weald, see here for the latest update. I do not know what the future plans are for this aircraft.

Great news! Only nine months from first possible ferry flight opportunity to maybe THE ferry flight. Well done.:)
Earlier reports said the Cat would eventually go to the US?
