On the off chance anyone is interested before I recycle it, I have a catalogue for Drewitt Neate’s collectors’ sale of 29th October 1997 with an aeronautica section in it including the leftovers of the Edward Ames-Jones collection of Zeppelin memorabilia. The rear cover has an illustration of one of the US Navy’s airships, plus a rather fine 1/4 scale DH83 flying model (the reason I got the catalogue in fact – we went to the auction room for some reason, and the DH83 and a Gloster Grebe model were still there).
Free to a good home – though with November 11th approaching, I’d ask anyone interested to pop something extra in a poppy seller’s tin.
