We at Airborne Systems are taking part in the Million Makers Project for the Princes Trust Fund.
We are looking into publishing a book about the history of the Caterpillar Club to include the story of Leslie Irvin and the history of the parachute and also specifically chosen members of the Caterpillar club that are historically recognised and or have fascinating stories. Obviously we cannot include all 64,000 members but the book would acknowledge every member for their involvement in the history of the Club.
The intention is to showcase 12 members, the original letters and photos and a short story of their lives.
Can we please ask you to take time from your busy lives and respond to this mail to help us with the market research for this charitable project and answer the questions below (please strikethrough where applicable)
• Do you think this is a good idea? YES/NO
• Would you purchase the book even if you or your family member were not included as a story YES/NO
• We are also going to publish a supporting calendar do you think this is a good idea also YES/NO
• Would you purchase the calendar YES/NO
• Are there any other associated products you would like to see us introduce as part of the charitable project
Furthermore we are interested in feedback so if you have any other ideas for items you would like to see in the book, please let us know.
If you are willing to participate in this worthwhile cause can you please respond no later than Wednesday August 8th so we can use this information in our business plan to present to the Princes Trust.
If you are interested in either the Book or the calendar or both please advise us and we will add your name to the waiting list for the first editions (cost to be advised)
