Catford school survivor

I know this thread may seem a bit random to some, but I thought I would mention it here, as it holds some historic relevance.
I went up to the Lowestoft show on the Friday this year and I was standing there, up at the North pier with the telephoto lens, when a lovely old lady came up next to me and we got chatting about the show at Lowestoft and aviation in general until we got onto the subject of the battle of britain.
She then told me that she was one of the survivors of the Catford school bombings and did go into some detail about getting out of having to go to school that morning. I also remember her describing seeing the Luftwaffe plane fly overhead. The lady said she was a member of the Lowestoft yachting club and lived very close by & it made me realise that she was sharing a bit of personal history with me & what a great lady she was.
Quite horrific circumstances as also described by the other survivors in the Daily Mail report & what got me was the memory of one girl who saw the expression on the pilots face.
Any way, this goes out to anyone in the Lowestoft area who may (I know it’s a long shot) know this survivor. Quite a short lady with blond ish hair & must be in her mid 70’s, and say hello for me!
