Some fascinating uncut footage out there just now on BBC iplayer from the 1960s, of World War 1 veterans talking about the conflict.
Visitors to this forum will probably be most interested in hearing Cecil Lewis talk for nearly 40 minutes. He was the author of the classic Sagittarius Rising and eventually lived to be nearly 100, by which time he was regarded as the last surviving British fighter ace of that era.
