Wrong, wrong, wrong…!

The aircraft in the photo of the first post is a FAKE #220, the real identity was #207 but someone painted #220 instead…this Corsair was then removed from that location and transferred to Comalapa, dont remember the year, and an Ouragan was sent in its place. The place is ‘Teleferico de San Jacinto’, a cable ride that doesnt work anymore.

The last photo posted by RMAllnutt (FAH619, Jaldo?) was taken in Comalapa in the early 90s! and its the same FAKE #220 that was in ‘Teleferico de San Jacinto’ but received a paintjob, this Corsair was later sold in 1992 when it was the last Corsair in El Salvador 😡

Mudmover, could you send me these and the other pictures (if available) to my email? Thanks!

Saludos.

If you could provide a closer in shot, so that we can see serial number, then we could answer the question, as all of these corsairs have been accounted for. Good to see these images though, and thanks for posting.

Cheers,
Richard
