Having seen the photos from Old Buck yesterday, I thought I’d stop in there for a couple hours this afternoon. Pleased I did as I hadn’t seen the Cessna before!

A few years ago there was one parked on the grass at Kidlington for ages. It never seemed to do anything and then it was gone. I can’t remember the reg other than it was G- registered, the only other thing I remember is that it was white overall with red trim lines. Got a photo at home somewhere I think,if I can find it.

Thanks for the comments folks.
The 337 is one of my favourites as well, really pleased to have seen it now as I had not seen one before.

I have to admit that the 337 is among the many aircraft that appeal to me, though I have heard a few stories that the rear engine has trouble reaching its TBO due to overheating.

G-VANA was there today but didn’t fly, for some reason I didn’t photograph it either! However I have photos of it from a previous visit. I gather from chatting to someone today, oddly enough he was called Keith as well, that there was two aircraft that came in this morning for the parachute club, then one of them departed fairly soon after arriving and they used G-CDYA today.

Yes nice to see a 337 again, REF i see from your pics the parachuting club must have had an aircraft change overnight, this was there yesterday, although “hooked” on to a “mondeo” trolley acc all day and not flying at all !

Damn! I should have stayed longer!:( It was certainly interesting watching ‘PH nearly take out the fence with its wingtip when taxying after it’s arrival…………………
