I always likesd the metalic/red/white sheme used by the canadians. So it’s not difficult to say I like the McDonnell F-101 Voodoo and the DC3. And the C45 looks great! They should make a national hero of the person who invented that sheme! 😎

Excellent shots Papa Lima – did you photograph the B-25 assuming it still sits alongside the C-47 and C-45 ? If so any chance of posting it as I couldn’t get a close look when I vsited a couple of years back?

I believe we just call it a Dash-8 like the civillian model. The Canadian Airforce designation for it is the CT-142 (which, in reality, is what it is more often called in the Forces).

Very nice pictures! Does anyone know the nickname for the CAF’s Dash 8? It’s something to do with its probiscus nose… 🙂

Oooh, VERY nice Papa Lima! Didn’t know any Dash-8s were painted dark blue…hmm, lovely!
