Mk.5 GGS on a retractable mounting in the Hunter. Mod 378 introduced the Mk.8 GGS on a fixed mounting – that would have been for the late F.6 onwards.

Yes, Vampire, Venom, Meteor, Sea Fury, Hornet and so on. Mk 5 came in with Hunter/Swift and 2 seat Venom/Vampire. Mk7 is Javelin, Mks 8,10 are later Hunter applications.
GGS4E was a common application!
