Chance for Typhoons first combat deployment?

A possible chance that RAF Akrotiri will be used to deploy Typhoon to support a no fly zone (might even get a chance at shooting something knowing how crazy Gadaffi can get):

Actually I see the government using this as a chance to dampen down the recent attacks over not having a carrier and Harriers available. Actually anybody in the know would of known that any UK operations over Libya are better done from Akrotiri.

If it happened how do you think the RAF would do it? Strip out one of the QRA in the UK or maybe use aircraft from the conversion flight? I’m in no doubt the RAF would be up for it – considering its a chance to prove their worth!

Finally I bet EADS are praying for it to happen nothing like having “PROVEN IN COMBAT” on your sales brochure!:diablo:
