The sooner the Union Flag is abolished the better, St George Cross all the way for me please, this depicts England, I am English not “British”.
What is even more worrying is that after Blair’s “speech” on people coming to Britain and adopting our values or don’t come you get some muslim extremist on the television saying that we should be a sharia state, like WHATEVER, maybe we should reciprocate in their native countries, if that depicts the typical “British” person of 2006 then this country has become a very sad place indeed
And sorry Blair, but your little “treasure” of a speech has come 9 years too late
As I always tell people. I’m English by birth, British thanks to some monarch centuries before I was born and European under duress. If God intended us to be Europeans he wouldn’t have put the English Channel where it is:D

Not yet mate.
Unless someone has removed us from the Union whilst we’ve been looking the other way.

Nice metaphor.
Of course you will also have to take the blue out of the 299-year old Union.
