Changing runway number ???

hi everyone, I just noticed that runway 17 in Beirut International Airport has now become Runway 16 !!! How can that be? moving the runway one degree??
It has been said that Jeppesen NOTAMS confirmed it ? what is Jeppesen NOTAMS anyway? any idea???

When you round up only things 5 and over are rounded up the next value (in this case 26). Anything below 5 is left as the previous number.

While on the subject of runway numbers, can I just ask what would a runway be if its heading was 004 for example.

Runways are determined by rounding up. E.g Heading for Runway 25 Belfast International is 252 but if it was 257 it would be runway 26!

Posted this before but according to scientists the world is due to complete magentic change were 180 will become 360 and vise versa. We are overdue by five million years BUT it will happen slowly with every hundread years or so shifting 10-20 degress. Something i dont think any of us will see in the future!
