Kev
Nope. Its a Dart Herald.
However, saying that, from some angles in piccies it could be mistaken for a ‘Whistling Tit”. Thes poor shots (actually they are very good but my scanners a bit cr*p)of the now defunct Boscombe Down babe for info.
cheers

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-11-02 AT 11:26 PM (GMT)]Yes it’s a Herald. I heard that there were plans to dispense with the F27s and concentrate on jets. This would effectively rule out Channel Island operations leaving the door open for Aurigny. Have either of you Guerns heard anything along these lines?

Gary,
Is that an Argosy? Known by a number of diverse and particularly uncomplimentary nicknames? I don’t think there are any flying anymore.

RE: Channel Express
Yes they still do operate across Europe. They are still based at Bournemouth and for the mail/flowers they operate the Fokker 27 and Electra to the Channel Islands.I’ve seen the 737 over in GCI as well once or twice.
