“He’ll be catching Paul Day up then.”……. if I remember correctly, on attaining this landmark said Officer was awarded the AFC. Can we assume Her Maj will recognise Charlie’s achievement in the same way?????
Probably not, as most of The Major’s hours were racked up as part of his day job, whereas Charlie logs his as an extra-curricular hobby.
