Hello there,
I don’t know if any of you have seen one story acutally so big that it’s making the news…
Charter airlines and holiday tour operators in the UK are not able to sell holidays or Flight Only options to people and so the prices have fallen considerably.
In one case in particular, a flight only package to Rhodes for 2 weeks was a mere £59 but a two week package holiday was just £44 with the flights.
Charter airlines/tour operators are hoping that England mess up in the world cup because people will need a holiday to overcome the defeat. If they do well and make it til the end, it’s going to be a cheap Summer for holidays and flights with JMC, Britannia/Thomson, MyTravel, Air 2000/First Choice etc..
(£59 is $82 or €95 – £44 is $62 or €70 => VERY CHEAP!)

RE: Charter Flight Prices go Crazy!
I like the sound of that. I’m actually looking at a trip to Ibiza as soon as my gcse’s have finished. So I think I’ll head for the travel agents tomorrow.
