I’ve been a member for over a year now but I’ve only just started contributing to the forum(although I think I had a conversation with Kabir about CDG some time ago), so, please, could somebody tell me what a Charter Member is???

well when i joined i was finsihing my GCSE’s and had little h/w
teh i had about 3 mnths off and i did nothing !!! – except lots of time online
the i started AS lelves – lots of hard work for a year to this summer when i dropped maths.
i now have more time to post but am more busy as i do other things. so it has taken me a month of free time at school (home conection is too slow to use a forum like this)to cathc up for my 2 week holiday at the end of august.
i have still to llok at flypast or airliner – that everything since the middle of august 🙂
so i don’t ahve that much free time 😀

all newbies get called rainbows (due to civy clothes) and then it goe sup the naval ranks – ja board is similar.

Yeah you are all right.What it basically is,is that when we changed from the older DCforum version last november,the account lost your joining date and so you were designated with a title ‘Charter Member’.Anybody who joined up after when DCForum Version 6.21 was implemented will have a joining date.

As I remember it, I became a CM at the time of a forum upgrade to a new version. I think that goes for all who were here at that time.

Someone said a few months back that it is someone who joined before a certain time. The rest of us will obviously just have this “member since..” stuff next to our names for the next few years!
I signed up for an account ages ago and I have forgotten the password for it – but that’s a Charter Member account.
