Hi,
Does anyone know which planes took part, at the Chartwell Concert on 5th Sept, from the BBMF and who the pilots were? They did land at Biggin and were driven to Chartwell for the end of the show but I didn’t film that bit and I have a bad memory.
Tony.

It was a good display by the BBMF at Chartwell, followed later by the ARCo Buchon and Spitfire Mk1 AR213 doing a mock dog fight to the music from Battle of Britain.
Hopefully they will do more concerts like that at Chartwell 🙂
Regards,
Dan

Many thanks. I think we can put this subject to bed now. Wasn’t as popular as I thought it was going to be.

AB910 and PZ865, flown by Smithy (the CO) and ‘Parky’ Parkinson.
Great response Zwitter. Not only planes and names but video evidence too. I’ll add those details to my YouTube page.
One last thing, can you give me their full names? Smithy and Parky sound a bit too informal. 🙂 I am not mates of theirs.
Tony.

Great vid of them departing off of runway 11 Biggin Hill on sunday! They both got a massive round of applause when they came on stage at Chartwell.

It was particularly nice to have AB in as it was based at Biggin in 1942.
