Cheapest flight yet

Well, I’ve set a new record for my cheapest flight yet. Stansted to Gothenburg in November for £26 return incl all taxes. I am not a great fan of Ryanair but you can’t beat their fares…anyone paid less for a return ticket?

easyJet have several return flights from Gatwick to Cologne for just £25.98 in the next few weeks.

Not the cheapest by far, but still excellent value.

Also, on the aforementioned Germanwings, we spent the day in CGN from STN for a mere £2 return inc. taxes. in Feb 2003. It costs me much more to fly with the airline I work for!!!

Without a single word of a lie or a hint of a joke, myself and my two fellow professional daytrippers paid a solitary Great British Pound (yes, £1), including taxes from STN/HHN/STN with Ryanair in March 2003. They undercut Germanwings special offer to Cologne just for the sake of it I think. But we paid £1 each in total – and this was before the fee for using switch cards as payment too!!

Do I win? 😀

£19 LBA-DUB-LBA in January this year.

An incredible fare even more so when I flew out on a Friday night returning on a Sunday night!

Also paid £21 LBA-BFS-LBA with Jet2 the 1st time I flew them.

STN-PIK rtn £13 (+ about £4 for credit card fee) last December. Was a certain deal on Ryanair, just for one day, where they were offering flights for a penny and then offering to pay half your tax or something like that.

Also flew Malaysia Airlines on Fokker 50/737 on a short 20 minute flight across Borneo for around £20rtn. Mainly due to the extremely low cost of living out there.
