Very sadly for sale is my mark 9 armstrong siddeley cheetah engine. Due to my hand injury I can no longer carry on with the restoration. Any body that is interested please message me. I am open to sensible offers and will not split any of the parts. The propellor is n/o/s and there are 80% of the parts there to do a really nice ground running engine.

There is no one interested in engines or helping in my village and it breaks my heart not being able to work on her and I cannot see a way out of it at the moment even if I do moth ball her. This decision has been a hard one to make but hopefully some one will take her on and love her the same as I do. Thankyou for the kind comments. If anything does change Ie some one willing to give me a hand locally I will let you all know. The accident was just over a year ago and my hand has got steadily worse over that time even with physio etc.

Ditto…
That’s awful and bad news Wildfire 🙁 is there no way you can get a little helper? There must be loads interested in aero engines etc… Shame you cannot get the likes of a local ATC or even technical college interested in assisting you.. It’s your dream, you might find the day you regret letting it go.
