Tripartitite Tornado Training Establishment – We had lots of different cars bought up to play against the jets like the new then MG -just wondered if you were based there thats all. I guess not.

We raced a Tornado Vs a Ferrari at Cottesmore in 95 . The Ferrari had a good lead but the ‘clean’ Tornado caught it half way along the sprint.

I arrived at the in-laws minutes after it had been on and missed it.
I know it was a charity event, but in view of the awful weather down here yesterday, I’m surprised that both a Spitfire and Charlie Brown were risked for such a stunt, I nearly got blown over and drowned just taking the dogs for a walk.

I thought the BBC didn’t race cars down runways any more as it encouraged boy racers to drive corsas too fast?
