China Southern Airlines has ordered six ERJ-145LR aircraft for delivery in 2004 and 2005. The airline’s board has also given approval, in principle, for the acquisition of 15 Airbus A320-200s and six A319-100s from Airbus. The new aircraft will allow the airline to increase its route network and flight frequencies.
