China's 5th. generation fighter – the Chengdu design !

Some interesting NEW’s from KANWA and Jane’s regarding the XXJ or fifth generation fighter !

“Reliable source indicate that two conceptual design of J10A stealth version has been completed. The two designs mainly differ by having single or twin engine.

Currently, the J10A and Su-27SK are used as light/heavy weight fighter combination. China plan to develop both light/heavy weight stealth fighters as their replacement.

Stealth version of J10A is a potential light weight stealth fighter contender.”

But for my opinion it’s a little bit “strange” to speak of a stealty-J-10A … it’s a completely new design which resembles more the Mikoyan 1.42 MFI-prototype than the actual J-10A !!
