Chinese and Taiwanese Avionics and Radars.

How do China’s modern radars (and other avionics) compare to the western ones. Now that China’s electronics industry in civilian applications (e.g. Huawei, ZTE) is making it’s presence felt, has there been any spill-over to military sector. By the same token, Taiwan has a faboulous electronics chip-making industry (at least the fabs, if not the IPs for the chips), did they ever try to develop some thing for military, surely they are very much capable of making cheap MMICs.
