Chinese purchases of Russian kit – not MKKs

Apart from a hell of a lot of Flanker family aircraft what else is the Chinese military buying from the Russians. Particularly interested in the Army, not so much in the AF and N.

dont forget the s300 and ka28s.

as for the lack in joint training, well distrust does play a role, but only a small one, the biggest discuraging factor is political rather then anything else.

afaik, not much in terms of cross-training. There was a border exercise but that involved logistical troops only. I think that there is still distrust between the two countries, even though they have settled previous land disputes.

More training goes on vis russia and india.

Aside from arms sales is there much Russo-Chinese cooperation? Do they exchange tactics or anything like that? Surely that would strengthen the ties between the two nations.

Army: 125mm gun for Type 96/Type 88Cs
AT-11s for Type 98s
Mi-17s, Mi-17V5s for army
Smerch purchased, then reverse engineered to extend range
to 100km.
That’s about all I can think of for the PLA- they’re largely self sufficient now, less dependent on Russian arms than their brothers in the PLAAF, or PLAN.

Navy: Possibly RIF-M SAM system.
DA/DN-80 turbines from Ukraine
Type 69 twin 30mm guns
Russian torpedoes, Kilo subs

I’d say the heaviest dependence is in the PLAAF.
