Chipmunk shoulder harness question.

Hi all

Can anyone suply details of how the front and rear shoulder harness straps are attached on a military Chipmunk T.10 please.

It is one of those un-glamerous areas of the aircraft which I just can’t find photo’s or information for. Any halp at all would as always be much appriciated.

David, that is brilliant, thanks.

Does the rear shoulder harness have the same spreader bracket as the front one? the piece that holds the two straps appart?

Between the cockpits you should see a bracket mounted on the top of the combing . That mounts the front harness -the rear one sort of clips at the end of the canopy rail area . I will take some pictures tomorrrow and post which might explain better!
